SNAP Payment Dates for February 2025: Find Out When You’ll Receive Your Benefits

SNAP, also known as Food Stamps, is an essential safety net for more than 42 million Americans in poverty.

The program is administrated by the USDA through its Food and Nutrition Service; the distribution of the benefits will be made by each state through EBT cards.

EBT cards function as debit cards and are funded monthly to buy eligible foods such as fruits, vegetables, proteins, and cereals. Some of the SNAP exclusions are hot or prepared meals, alcohol, tobacco, and non-food items, such as household supplies or fuel.
